Courier at the Front Door With a Parcel

Vertical 3:4 photograph, shot from inside a small Japanese apartment looking out through an open front door. A delivery courier stands on the tiled step outside in the corridor, holding a plain cardboard parcel in both hands at stomach height, looking towards the camera with a small apologetic smile.

Subject: a 23-year-old East Asian adult woman in her courier's uniform, light brown hair in a ponytail gathered under the cap, faint blush, natural skin texture, minimal makeup.

Outfit: a navy short-sleeve polo shirt with white piping along the shoulders, navy work shorts, a navy cap with the brim low, and a folded white sports towel draped around the neck so both ends hang evenly down the front.

Setting: the outdoor corridor and lift lobby of the building behind her — a grey concrete parapet, a lift door, a strip of summer greenery beyond; inside the doorway, in the near frame, a shoe cabinet, a leafed floor plant and a pale wall. The parcel is sealed with clear tape and carries a printed shipping label.

Light: bright midday sun bounces off the concrete and the white paint and opens as a soft key from the front left; the interior stays in gentle shadow with the doorframe holding a bright edge. Clean, slightly cool grade, white and navy dominating, one warm accent from the brickwork.

Style: hyper-real candid snapshot, 35mm at chest height, f/4, everything from the cap to the shoes readable, natural perspective, no fashion-styling polish, no text or watermark. Adult subject, fully dressed; avoid revealing clothing, wardrobe malfunction, fabric merging into skin, over-smoothing, wide-angle distortion.
